The Embodyist Way
What Happens in an Embodyist Session
An Embodyist Session is a space (via Zoom) that is held for and with you.
There is no script to follow and no performance expected. You arrive as you are.
Arriving in the Body
The session begins by gently orienting attention toward the body. This may include noticing breath, posture, or present sensations, nothing forced, nothing imposed.
The intention is simple: to settle into presence and create enough safety for the body to begin communicating.
Listening to Sensation
From there, we listen.
Sensations, tensions, discomforts, or areas of ease are explored as they arise. Rather than interpreting them immediately, space is given for them to unfold.
The body leads the inquiry. Words come second.
Decoding the Signals
As sensations clarify, their underlying signals are explored. This is not an intellectual analysis, but an embodied dialogue, connecting physical experience with lived context, memory, emotion, or pattern.
The aim is not to assign meaning, but to allow meaning to emerge naturally.
Integration and Release
As understanding settles, the body often begins to soften or reorganize on its own. Relief may arise physically, emotionally, or energetically.
Nothing is pushed. Release happens at the body’s pace.
Closing the Session
Each session closes with integration, allowing what has shifted to anchor gently. This may include a simple practice, reflection, or guidance to support the days that follow.
Every session is unique. No two unfold the same way.
What remains consistent is the quality of presence, listening, and respect for the body’s intelligence.
