Discovering the Spiral Beneath It

There is a curious thing that happens when climbing a mountain. While walking, all we see is the next step. The next turn. The next rise in the trail. The path feels fragmented. At times it even feels repetitive. A familiar obstacle appears. A familiar fear returns. A familiar lesson presents itself once more. And from where we stand, it can seem as though we are moving in circles.
But when we finally reach a high enough vantage point and turn around, something remarkable becomes visible. The path reveals itself. What once seemed like disconnected steps becomes a coherent journey. What once felt like repetition reveals itself as progression. What once appeared to be a circle reveals itself as a spiral. Perhaps this is one of those moments. Not to stop. Not to conclude. But simply to pause long enough to see where the spiral has already carried us.
The First Turning
LEARNING TO RETURN TO OURSELVES
The journey began with a simple question:
Can you be the love you seek?
A deceptively simple question. One that invited us to turn our attention inward. Before the body. Before sovereignty. Before presence. Before trust. There was the invitation to rediscover the relationship we held with ourselves. We explored self-love. Inner ecosystems. Relationships. Collective harmony. At the time, these may have seemed like separate conversations.
Yet looking back, they were all pointing toward the same realization: The quality of our outer world is profoundly shaped by the quality of our inner one. The journey began by asking us to stop searching externally for what first needed to be cultivated within.
The first turning was a return home.
The Second Turning
LISTENING TO THE BODY
Once that foundation had been laid, another voice began to emerge. A quieter one. The body's. The conversation shifted. No longer:
What do I think? But: What is my body trying to tell me?
The body ceased being a machine to maintain or a vehicle to manage. It became a messenger. A companion. A guide.
Together we explored stored tension, emotional residue, nervous system wisdom, discomfort, alignment, and the echoes of experience. We began to discover that symptoms were not always problems. Sometimes they were communications. Sometimes they were invitations. Sometimes they were wisdom disguised as discomfort. For many of us, this was the first glimpse that the body might be participating in our lives in ways we had never considered before.
The Third Turning
DISCOVERING RELATIONSHIP AS A LIVING FIELD
As our awareness deepened, the spiral carried us outward once again. Into relationships. Into conversations. Into the invisible spaces between people. We explored resonant fields, harmonious environments, inner councils, conversations, and bridges. The focus evolved.
How does my inner state influence the world around me?
We began to see that every interaction carries a quality. That presence affects presence. That the environments we create are often extensions of the environments we cultivate within ourselves. The journey expanded beyond the individual. We began exploring the relational ecosystems that connect us all.
The Fourth Turning
RECLAIMING INNER AUTHORITY
Then the path became steeper. The conversation turned toward sovereignty. Conditioning. Social scripts. Inherited beliefs. Survival patterns. The places where we had unknowingly handed our authority away. This turning asked difficult questions. Whose voice am I listening to? Whose expectations am I carrying? What parts of my life are genuinely mine?
The spiral invited us to step beyond external approval and reconnect with something deeper. Inner law. Personal truth. Authentic knowing. The journey was no longer about becoming acceptable. It was about becoming authentic.
The Fifth Turning
LEARNING THE RHYTHM OF PRESENCE
Then something softened. The pace slowed. The articles became quieter. Less concerned with becoming. More interested in listening. Stillness entered the conversation. Timing entered the conversation. Enough entered the conversation. The sacred pause entered the conversation. The question shifted once more. No longer:
How do I improve? But: How do I listen?
The wisdom was no longer hiding in future achievements. It was waiting in the present moment. In the breath. In the pause. In the subtle sensations often overlooked by a mind constantly rushing ahead. The spiral taught us that presence is not inactivity. Presence is participation.
The Sixth Turning
TRUSTING THE UNSEEN
Then creativity arrived. Not merely as artistic expression. But as relationship. Ideas became visitors. Inspiration became dialogue. Creation became communion. The unknown became something to collaborate with rather than something to fear.
This stage of the journey invited us into trust. Trusting intuition. Trusting sensation. Trusting inspiration. Trusting completion. Trusting that not everything meaningful arrives with certainty attached. Many of us discovered that creativity and trust share the same doorway. Neither can be forced. Both require surrender.
The Seventh Turning
BECOMING MORE FULLY OURSELVES
Then came questions of identity. Belonging. Visibility. Authenticity. The spiral guided us toward a profound realization: Many of the roles we play are not who we are. Many of the masks we wear were created for survival. Many of the stories we carry were inherited rather than chosen. And so we began asking:
Who am I when performance is no longer required? Can I belong without conformity? Can I be seen without becoming someone else? Can I simply be myself?
The journey was becoming increasingly intimate. Not because we were adding more layers. But because we were shedding them.
The Eighth Turning
SAFETY, REGULATION AND OPENNESS
Most recently, the spiral brought us back to the body. But from a different altitude.
We revisited influence. Self-regulation. Pressure. Reaction and response. Nervous system safety. Openness.
The themes felt familiar. Yet everything was different. Because we were different. We were no longer meeting the body as beginners. We were returning with experience. With context. With greater awareness. The body had become both the starting point and the destination. The spiral had completed another revolution.
The Hidden Thread
Looking back across seventy-five articles, it would be easy to see many different subjects. Self-love. Body wisdom. Relationships. Sovereignty. Presence. Creativity. Identity. Safety.
Openness. And yet beneath them all runs a single thread. Trust. Trusting ourselves. Trusting our bodies. Trusting our timing. Trusting our intuition. Trusting our boundaries. Trusting our unfolding. Trusting life enough to remain open to what comes next. Perhaps that was the lesson hidden beneath every lesson. The journey beneath the journey. The wisdom quietly
growing all along.
Looking Down the Mountain
If you have been here since the beginning, perhaps you can now recognize parts of your own journey reflected in these pages. Perhaps you can see where you once stood. The questions you once carried. The lessons that once felt impossible. The insights that now feel obvious. Not because the path became easier. But because you changed while walking it.
And if you joined somewhere along the way, perhaps you now glimpse the larger landscape. The valleys already crossed. The ridges already climbed. The conversations already explored.
A reminder that there is always more waiting behind us than we remember, and always more waiting ahead than we can presently see.
A Moment of Gratitude
Before we continue, I would like to pause for a moment and simply say thank you.
Whether you have been here since the very beginning, joined somewhere along the way, or arrived only recently, thank you for sharing this journey with me.
These articles were written as explorations, reflections, and invitations. Yet as much as they may have served as guides for others, they have also shaped the person writing them.
Through the process of observing, questioning, listening, and putting these thoughts into words, I have learned a great deal about myself. These seventy-five articles have changed me for the better. They have deepened my relationship with my body, my understanding of life, and my trust in the path unfolding before me.
For that, I am profoundly grateful. My sincere hope is that somewhere within these pages, you may have found a thought, a question, a reflection, or a moment of recognition that served you as well.
Perhaps a reminder. Perhaps a reassurance. Perhaps simply the feeling that you are not walking your path alone. Thank you for reading. Thank you for reflecting. And thank you for being part of this spiral journey.
What To Carry Forward
Standing here now, looking back across the path traveled, one thing becomes clear. We were never walking in circles. We were moving in spirals. Returning. Revisiting. Remembering. Meeting familiar lessons with new awareness. Encountering old questions from new heights. Seeing familiar landmarks through different eyes. The mountain remains. The path remains. But the traveler has changed. Perhaps growth is not becoming someone else. Perhaps growth is returning to the same places with a little more awareness.
A little more softness. A little more trust. The spiral continues. Not because we have failed to learn. But because wisdom reveals itself in layers. And every return offers a deeper view.
As we stand here together, looking back across the landscape we have traveled, perhaps the most beautiful realization is this:
The path was never leading away from ourselves. It was always leading us back. One spiral at a time.
Coming Next Week
It will be a surprise as much for you as for me. This look at the path traveled has mesmerised me; it will most assuredly reveal the next steps in due time. Till then, let's enjoy the moment that is present. Wishing you a very pleasant day. Thank you.
